Perhaps, this shouldn’t go into the “religion” section because believe me, I have much more violent thoughts about it. Also, Buddhism is not reaaally considered as a religion, more like a way of life. Interestingly enough, there are many similitude with other religions but I won’t go into that right now.
What triggered that strip was the fact that the Dalai-lama is coming to Switzerland and will be giving a seminar about life, love and happiness…. for a whopping 460$ ticket (that includes the whole package meaning the seminar itself and a day of meditation, apparently this stuff is hardcore…).
Funnily enough, not so long ago, the singer Prince came to the Montreux Jazz festival and charged as far as 275$ a sit… 275!!! Don’t get me wrong, I respect both men for their achievements but 275$ and 460$ to see them? Sorry to say but they can both kiss my ass.
