So yeah, I participated to a strip contest organised by a newspaper for the Lausanne comics festival. I did it for the fun of it and I knew I didn’t have much chance as I’m very new to the strip adventure. Out of the many strips they received, they picked up 10 of them so that people on the internet can vote.
When I checked them out I was like “whaaaat, … reaaaally?”. I mean some of them are okaaay but… reaaally?
Anyway, that inspired me for a strip. No payback, no bitterness, just an occasion for a strip because I must say, the biggest challenge so far is not the drawing per say, but really to find an idea (I still don’t get how Scott Adam can make one per day… he probably even makes several, that bastard…).

i checked the nominees…it seems they definitely look for the ones with low color palette…and low humour too i guess
