OSX snow leopard

Today is the official release of the big operating system upgrade from Apple called Snow Leopard. Let’s get things straight : yes I do prefer the usage of a Mac environment but don’t think I don’t know anything about Windows or Linux as in my past office jobs, I was forced to use them and since I used to work for a Computer Lab, believe me I’ve had my share of Windows dumb issues. People think I’m an Apple fanboy but for real, I’m far from what I’ve seen in New York (Apple logo tattoos on the arm is just an example…).

I do however believe that Apple makes far superior software and the only reason for that is because they simply make their own hardware. But again, nothing is perfect and yes, OSX has flaws too. For example, difficult to play games on it… Windows platform is way better for this. But overall, the day I first used OSX (Powerbook Titanium 15”), I never looked back. I don’t need to worry about viruses, spywares, blue screens and so on. And it’s not like I was a basic Windows user, I knew how to fix things. Now that I’m on Apple OSX, I never had a single issue…

As for Linux… well, it’s Linux …

Anyway, I just wanted to celebrate the release of “Snow Leopard” my own way. If you’re thinking of buying a new computer, think about checking Apple machines out and NO, they’re not THAT expensive anymore.
