The Polanski BS case

Alright, enough with that Roman Polanski bs. Some stories really have the tendency of lasting for ever for no reason. It’s as if people have waaaay too much time on their hands. If we spent that time in actually doing useful things, we’d probably already have found a cure for cancer and made Céline Dion illegal.

The only reason why I’m writing about it, is because that event happened in Switzerland. “Oh Switzerland, those bastards! they arrested the godly film maker Roman Polanski!!!”. Oh yeah? Well to all those idiots, please note that Switzerland has something called “a law” (you know, that thingy that stops us from living in a jungle) that clearly condemns pedophilia actions NO MATTER when you did it (put it simple… so that these dumb fucks understand).

I don’t care if Polanski is a hobo or a king, no one is above the law. Do I like his films? How to put it in a diplomatic way: I don’t give a flying fuck. 1 or 10 academy award is not a “get out of jail free card” like some people seem to believe. Luckily, there’s still hope in the human race, most people on the web seem to agree that Polanski must be brought to a court and be condemned like a regular pedophile!

And about his age… people go like “yeah but you know, he’s old, we should be more indulgent…”. Indulgence my ass. If anyone could rape a kid using drugs and be a fugitive, then we might as well have a laugh at our legal system. Polanski has had a nice life thanks to the showbiz (winter holidays skiing in Gstaad anyone?) and now it’s time to pay the bill. There should be NO favoritism because of his age!

You could be a Polanski fanboy, that’s ok, having a shitty tastes is not illegal. But as a responsible citizen, you can NOT ask authorities to free Polanski and those who start online petitions going that direction should all be put in an island to see how long they would survive before murdering each other (I give them a month).
