SO… last Thursday, I did not post any strip because I was preparing a drawing for a birthday present… AND if you read correctly, you would know that I couldn’t post the drawing on Thursday BECAUSE it was supposed to be a surprise… THUS only text and no pictures… (omfg, the simplest thing in the world…).
Today I am therefore entitled to present to you what took me fucking hours to do but I must admit, it was worth it because I simply kick ass. Anyway, when I was shortly requested to do that task, I automatically started to do whatever I do when I have a white sheet in front of me… I started to THINK. The birthday girl loves snails (don’t ask) so having a snail drawing theme was a given. She’s also a very sweet person so I wanted to reverse role, bit like a punching ball. So I came up with that “Godzilla-like” snail. The second important request was the color purple. (Purple snail? naaah, I’m more subtle than this…). Instead, we came up with a baroque frame on the outside and a modern purple one on the inside. That allowed me to play with colors so I went with green instead.
You can see the result right below. I believe it’s prettyyyyy… prettyyyyy… pretty good. What do you think? (click on the image to enlarge)…
