First of, i know there hasnt been any strip for a while but i currently have shit load to do. As mentioned in another timezone, I’m going back to business so eventually, there’s no time for doodling (the fact that Diablo 3 came out has absolutely nothing to do with it either).

Secondly, i talked about doing something a bit different in the layout so i hope you will enjoy this new form of strip i’m trying. This could easily become a series … or not.

Time … to rush … out … no … fucking…. time…. .

Before I go on with my rant about asstwat Jame Cameron, let me tell you how dumb Avatar is. We get it, it’s a remake of cowboys and native Americans. The mean earthlings come invade hippie aliens. Except that in Cameron’s scenario post-it, the indians win the battle. That’s right, humans have advanced technologies (remember THEY arrived on the planet), weapons of mass destruction, guns the size of King Kong’s penis, awesome mecha, and yes, bad ass battleships. What do we have on the alien side? arrows, knives and flying lizards. As Joe Bluth says, … COME ON!!!

But here’s the real point. Behind that catastrophic dull story, what made Avatar blow the box office was that new 3D technology that was going to revolutionize movies. Guess what, 3D is the biggest scam, it’s so big that even Goldman Sachs wish they’d come with it. Thanks to overrated 3D movies, the film industry (mainly the majors) can now charge you more for a ticket! Obviously, it’s also an interesting anti-piracy technology but more on that in another strip.

So why do I hate James Cameron with all I’ve got?

1. Titanic – Probably the most boring movie ever (and yes, that’s including Avatar). I hate how one would sit 3 fucking hours watching a boat sinking while a dumb bitch tries to act so “common people”. Guess what Cameron, no one gives a flying fuck about that bitch.

2. Celine Dion – I hate that singer, I hate that theme song. Yes, she can scream but do I want to listen to some canadian hag at the end of a awful movie? Fuck no!

3. Avatar – For the reasons mentioned above. In addition of being brainless and pointless, Cameron managed to introduce 3D to the industry, thus fucking us up at our wallet. And that “story” made no sense: humans should rape the smurfs easily no matter what their size is.

4. Titanic 3D – that’s right, what’s worse than Titanic and 3D? Titanic IN 3D!!! I knew Cameron was a turd trying to get richer than he already is and here’s your proof.

Flash news Cameron, no one wants to pay extra to wear glasses during a dumb movie so that you have the feeling that objects fly towards you. Movie theaters are currently thinking of rising the price of regular 2D tickets and lowering the 3D ones to even things out. WHAT?! that’s right, not only you sometimes don’t have the choice, but should you do, you’d have to pay higher because of the 3D counter part!

So, fuck you Cameron for starting that 3D trend, let’s hope it dies out. You may take all your academy awards and shove them up your ass, way up. Now THAT’s a movie I’d see in 3D. Die.

Yeah yeah it’s Mars but this strip was originally for the 30joursdebd.com platform, January session but because it was cancelled (not enough strips), it was published in February. And since we’re not allowed to publish our work anyway else for a month, tadaa, here is my “happy new year” strip in March. Which is good because I don’t celebrate new year so it’s all good.

2012 is not the end of our civilization. What pisses me off is however the dumb fucks who actually believe that it will happen and will blow some bomb up somewhere crowded just for a kick.

My brother firmly believes that one day, aliens will land on our planet and rape us like there’s no tomorrow; I’m with him on this one. I also believe that male gays will be fine. Maybe they’re right after all.

Because sometimes it’s good to go back to basics.

Not many strips these days, I’m too busy killing babies and torturing homosexuals *roll eyes*.

This year, I didnt post anything for Valentine’s day because I knew that people were expecting me to (wink wink Suhani). So instead, I thought of a strip that would talk about the days following Valentine’s day (the day after tomorrow, same disaster).

Many people are misunderstanding me. I have nothing against celebrating love… love is a good thing… all you need is NOT love but it’s nice enough to have some. Problem is what people do with it, ie cheesy movies, flower bloodbath, pinkish postcards… valentine’s day…

I mean think about it… should the aliens chose to invade earth and it happens to be valentine’s day… we’re fucked… proper fucked.

Back in track! As this first strip of the year shows, a blog is like a woman: if you don’t pay much attention to it, she will eventually look somewhere else. So time to update a bit with a few news.

This might be the very last year I’m gonna do strips with Jundooz. Not because I’m tired of it, quite the contrary: I love that little prick, nor because the world is supposed to end in 2012, that’s just pure BS. No, the reason is because doing little doodling will not pay rent. Instead, I’ve launched my own company and will doing what I do best, business and marketing.

These past few years, I wanted to try remodeling the business model of a comic-strip artist because I strongly think that we are not getting the credit we’re due. The internet was supposed to change everything, cutting the middle men (ie the publishers) so that artist could finally get paid the right amount and make a living entertaining people. But people want “free”, and that’s why they download illegal TV shows, movies and music. Flash news morons, if you all do that, there will be no more content to download. Yes the record companies, along with Hollywood producers are all douchebags for charging a lot of money but you won’t solve shit by stealing (that’s what it is, don’t cover your face with that hypocritical story) content. I SO hope that SOPA passes eventhough it’s a shitty act, you guys deserved it.

It has always been a non-written contract between the online comic artist and the audience: we provide content, you respond by commenting, clicking on advertising or event donating. Things is, very few succeed meaning this is not a good business model. It’s true that I have never thought of making a living doing comic strips BUT the challenge to make it happen was interesting enough.

So this might be my last year, what will happen? I have a new “category-structure” of strip I would like to try. Passed 2012, I think I will stop posting online and start drawing for myself and auto-publish my own book of never-seen-befor strips as well as redrawing the best of Jundooz these past few years.
